Municipal Mayor Vic Paul Molina “Nonoy” Salarda, MPA delivers his State of the Local Children’s Address during the Children’s Congress on November 20 at Alabel Gymnasium.

November is said to be the Month for Children, with this, the Local Government Unit of Alabel headed by the Hon. Mayor Nonoy Salarda joins the National Children’s Month Celebration of this year with the theme “Isulong: Tamang Pag-aaruga Para sa Lahat ng Bata.

“Ang Bayan ng Alabel, Capital Town ng Sarangani, ay dalawampu’t anim na taon nang sumusulong ng mga programang mag-aangat sa mga kakayahan ng kabataan” as the Municipal Mayor once stated during his Local Children’s address “Una, sa Aspeto ng Civil rights and Freedom, ikalawa sa Basic Health and Welfare at ikatlo sa Education, Leisure and Cultural Activities” he added.

He emphasized that his administration mainly focuses in strengthening and helping the children of this municipality as the saying goes, children are the hope of the country. Through education, the Hon. Mayor believed that it could facelift Alabel. In fact, he provided a total of Php. 14, 571, 502. 00 for Free and Quality Education for all school children at all levels.

Moreover, the success of his administration would not be possible without the unending support from the Non-Government Organizations and other stakeholders. “Ang mga NGO’s at ating mga stakeholders ay ating kaagapay sa paghahatid serbisyo” he emphasized.

“Mga kababayan ko, sabay sabay at hawak kamay nating isulong ang tamang pag-aaruga para sa lahat ng Batal para sa pag-asa ng bayan: ang ating mga KABATAAN! SMILE para sa Kabataan! SMILE ALABEL!” he uttered with hope and joy.
